Julius Claros

Julius Claros has stepped into the role of Director of Operations on Parangal’s Executive Leadership Team.

A founding member of Parangal, Julius played an integral role in supporting the Artistic Team during the organization’s early years. At a young age, he migrated from the Philippines to the United States and longed to reconnect with his cultural roots. He found that connection through dance after being introduced to it by a close friend in middle school. As a former member of Barangay, he built his foundation and further refined his skills—experiences that continue to shape his artistic and cultural journey.

After taking a sabbatical to focus on raising his young family—who we hope will one day carry on our traditions as dancers and musicians—he returned to the stage for our 15th anniversary production, Paglinang, in October.

Known for his playful spirit in the studio and commanding presence on stage, Julius has been a steadfast supporter of the Parangal community since its inception. His deep connection to our mission and culture makes him a meaningful addition to the leadership team.
