Marlon Dumlao - Executive Director

Marlon Dumlao currently serves as the Executive Director of Parangal, as well as Interim Director of Internal Affairs.  As one of the founding members of the organization, he brings more than three decades of experience in Filipino cultural dance as both a dancer and musician. Marlon previously served as Director of Operations from January 2019 to January 2024, overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations and internal infrastructure, and concurrently served as Co-Executive Director from November 2022 to December 2025. During this period of overlapping leadership, he helped guide both the strategic direction and operational execution of the organization, strengthening internal systems, supporting program expansion, and advancing long-term sustainability. Through his leadership and artistic practice, Marlon remains deeply committed to preserving and sharing the rich cultural traditions of the Philippines with communities locally and internationally.
